Uh oh! You've entered The Cage Zone. Below are my rankings for every Nicholas Cage movie that I have seen, graded on a -10 to 10 scale with some other example movies to chart my tastes. 0 is the worst on the scale (ex: Hail, Caesar! Time Trap) because I thought that being boring/having no redeeming features was worse than being a lopsided movie. AKA movies like The Whale that have overarching problems that would drag down an otherwise competently made film but instead make it more interesting to watch.
A -8 is just as worthy of watching as an 8, "so bad they're good" movies will go in the negatives, but not all negatives are incompetently/incompletely made.
